This is a great Red Light Panel. Although I've just been using it for a week now, I can say that the bruising on my shins is fading, and the wound that developed has finally healed over and is shrinking.
I had tried so many creams, etc, to help the bruising condition but nothing worked. I've had that for years now, and one leg became very inflamed with the skin becoming extremely red and thin, which then burst, became infected, and the wound wasn't healing, even with raw honey, and iodine. That's when I began looking for alternative answers, and discovered the world of Red Light Therapy.
I compared so many panels, and then found Red Light Therapy UK. Their panels were much the same as the others, just fewer bells and whistles (timers, faders, etc). I was wanting something straightforward, and one where I could direct the light more to where I wanted it. As the Helios 2 was almost half the price of the nearest competitor (based in Europe), I opted for this one.
The panel body is metal, solid and very well made, not the plastic body of some panels on the market. The stand is a bit stiff and takes a wee bit of force to manoeuvre, but sturdy enough to take the pressure. It comes with a few cables; one power lead and the other to add another panel should you wish. There are also googles and wires for hanging it, plus a door hook. So you get value for your money. Plus, their 3 year warranty is reassuring.
I had a few questions which I sent off on the Sunday afternoon, thinking I'd get an answer after Monday, but within half an hour I had my answers. Great service. Delivery was very fast too.
Apart from the bruising and wound healing nicely. I did notice I became very thirsty, and hungry. That has worn off now, maybe to aid the healing.
I do get a tingling feeling on my skin and if I go very close a little heat. It is early days, so hopefully I'll be able to submit an update, as my wife has just begun using it too after being impressed with the speed of healing of that big deep gash on my leg. She has arthritis, which due to the pain, is now interfering with her sleep. So hopefully she'll find relief with the Red Light.
